Perez rolls up his sleeves and signs four players at once

Today Arsenal are playing because Real Madrid were not up to the task, and it is Arteta’s team, having passed the Bernabéu test, that is enjoying a Champions League semi-final.

This award goes to the London team, among other reasons, for its defensive solidity, which makes it an extremely difficult opponent to overcome. In this collective defense, a figure with a French name and surname appears: William Saliba.

The French international appears to be Real Madrid’s preferred choice to lead the Whites’ defense starting next season. Madrid knows this, the player knows this, and Arsenal knows this.

With other things at stake, such as the Champions League for London and La Liga for Real Madrid, the exchange of messages is being kept cool and muted, but Florentino seems willing to roll up his sleeves to bring the man many currently consider the best central defender on the market to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Huysen is certainly an option, but Saliba has long been on Juni Calafat’s agenda. He and Akanji, the Swiss defender at Manchester City, would also be open to leaving Guardiola, even though he is no longer able to satisfy Carlo Ancelotti, who was the one who put his name on the table.

Four signings that Florentino Perez will make: Akanji (Manchester City), Saliba (Arsenal), Mac Allister (Liverpool) and Tonali (Newcastle) in defensive midfield because Zubimendi does not seem to be coming soon as he agreed with Arsenal, which is taken for granted everywhere.
