Barcelona loses two of its most important weapons against Real Madrid in the Cup final.

Spanish network Defense Central reported that Barcelona coach Hansi Flick will be without two of his most important weapons in the upcoming Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid will face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday, April 26.

Real Madrid enters the match in desperate need of a win and the title to salvage their season after being eliminated from the Champions League by Arsenal in the quarter-finals. They are also struggling to catch up with Barcelona in La Liga, where the gap has reached seven points ahead of tonight’s match against Getafe.

According to Defensa Central, Hansi Flick has confirmed that his stars Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro Balde will not be available for the match due to injury.

“It’s true that he’s testing himself these days and is gradually making progress in his recovery, but people close to Balde have told me that he won’t be involved in the Copa del Rey final on Saturday,” said José Álvarez on  El Chiringuito.

As for Lewandowski, he will not be able to participate in the match, despite all the efforts made by the player and the medical team to prepare him for it.

Lewandowski and Alejandro Balde are considered two of Barcelona’s most important players for Hansi Flick, with the former scoring the team’s most goals this season, while the latter has yet to make up for his absence, and his absence has become a gaping hole in the team’s fortunes.
