Totti announces Real Madrid’s next signing: “He will be the best in the world”

Francesco Totti sat down with renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on the Betsson Sport platform to talk all things football.

The Italian legend spoke about his long career with Roma, and also touched on other topics, including a possible move to former Real Madrid player and a former Real Madrid player.

When asked which player he would like to see at Roma, Totti did not hesitate to name former Real Madrid player Nico Paz.

I can’t think of a specific name. I’d go for a young player like Nico Paz. I like him,’ said the Roma legend.

Paz, a graduate of the Real Madrid youth academy, has been making waves since joining Como last summer. The youngster has contributed to as many as 12 goals this season, wowing fans with his chance creation and creativity in the attacking third.

He added, “Real Madrid made the best decision. He will return to Madrid and become one of the best players in the world.”

Although Nico Paz is no longer a Real Madrid player, the club is keen to bring him back by activating the buy-back clause, which is worth around €8 million.
