Luis Enrique’s ‘interesting’ response when asked about Mbappe’s first goal with Real Madrid: ‘How annoying you are’
Kylian Mbappé’s shadow continues to haunt PSG wherever they go, something that Luis Enrique is not happy about.
The Spanish coach already experienced countless episodes last season where he was asked about the Frenchman’s future , and after the striker’s signing for Real Madrid these questions seem to continue to be present in Paris.
‘Lucho’ spoke to the media at a press conference ahead of the match between PSG and Le Havre , and was once again asked about Mbappé, which has ended up tiring the Asturian after being questioned about whether he saw his debut – with a goal included – with Madrid.
“I didn’t see it. You Spaniards are so annoying. You’re still here. Until when? Did you like the Olympic Games? The truth is that I didn’t expect you to ask me more about Mbappé, but I don’t have anything to hide either. A unique, exceptional person and player , whom I have adored. I wish him the best, except when he plays against us ,” the coach responded bluntly.
🗣 "Qu'ils sont ennuyeux ces Espagnols, mon Dieu."

The coach acknowledged that, despite being a significant loss, they have several players who will together score the goals that the French star managed to score. “We all know Kylian and his characteristics as a player, but as a coach, as a team, it is an exciting challenge for everyone. Based on my experience, there will be four who score 12, which times four is 42, is more than 40 ,” he concluded.
Luis Enrique also spoke about the project he has in hand at PSG, which he is very excited about despite the departure of his star player. “All the players we have signed, Neves, Pacho and Safonov, are players who strengthen the team regardless of their age. It is a medium-long term project in which we have the necessary confidence to develop it,” he said.
