Manchester United steals the signing of the decade from Real Madrid
The Spanish newspaper Marca confirmed that the English club Manchester United is close to snatching the “contract” deal from Real Madrid after submitting a financial offer far exceeding what the white team made.
Real Madrid announced the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, and is also seeking to sign two new signings, one of whom is Alphonso Davies and the second is Leny Yoro.
According to Marca, Manchester United made a huge offer of 60 million euros to sign French defender Leny Yoro, who is 18 years old and has been seeking to succeed Real Madrid for some time as a strategic signing for the future.
According to the same newspaper, Manchester United has agreed to all the requests of the French club Lille, and the deal is on its way to being finalized.
Manchester United wants to rebuild a team that has been badly damaged in the past two seasons. Leny Yoro are one of his targets, and since he knows Real Madrid are after the Frenchman, he has moved quickly to try and seal a three-way deal.
Leny Yoro was present last Saturday at Wembley enjoying the Champions League final match, and some English media indicate that he held a meeting with Manchester United leaders.
For its part, Real Madrid asked the young player to resist the temptations of Manchester United and wait for the time when the White Club decides to make a final offer to sign him.
