Lunin reaches an agreement with his new club

Andriy Lunin has proven that he is not just a substitute goalkeeper, but a first-choice goalkeeper who can play for the greatest European clubs in elite football. He has already shown that with the impressive performances he has put in for Real Madrid since Thibaut Courtois’ injury and he has no intention of going back again.

Lunin has a contract with Real Madrid that expires in June 2025, and Florentino Perez is seeking to renew it in the summer, but the recent discussions did not lead to anything, as the Ukrainian goalkeeper does not want to sit on Courtois’ bench next season, which is something that the president of the white club does not guarantee to him.

According to El Nacional newspaper, Lunin has decided to leave Real Madrid, and if the white club wants to receive financial compensation for his transfer to another club, it should do so next summer instead of letting him leave for free when his contract expires in June 2025.

The same newspaper confirmed that Zin Lunin has already completed his agreement with his new club, Manchester United, which is looking for a new goalkeeper to replace Zonana, who disappointed hopes due to his recklessness and irregular performance during the matches of the current season.

Although he had offers from other great clubs such as Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, Lunin preferred to move to Manchester United, where he received a pledge to play as a starter and not sit on the bench.

Lunin is a profitable deal for Manchester United because he is still young, as he is only 25 years old, and for Florentino Perez, he is a good investment for the future, but this clashes with the Ukrainian goalkeeper’s unwillingness to sit on the bench for Courtois again, so the club will be forced to sit at the negotiating table with the English club.
