Ronaldo receives direct red card after hitting Ali Al-Bulaihi

The referee issued a direct red card to Cristiano Ronaldo after he assaulted Al Hilal Saudi Club defender Ali Al Bulaihi.

Al Hilal defeated Al Nassr 2/1 in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final match held in the Emirates. The match saw Cristiano expelled in the 86th minute after he assaulted Al Bulayhi.

Cristiano Ronaldo tried to attack the referee after the expulsion, but he backed down within moments and also directed signals to the fans during his exit, and it is expected that a severe penalty will be imposed on him by the Saudi Football Federation.
