Ancelotti responses to Laporta: “Everyone knows what happened in the last 23 years”
Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of the Spanish club Real Madrid, responded to the statements of Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, in which he attacked the Spanish arbitration and described the VAR as saying that his decisions only serve Real Madrid.
In the press conference preceding the match against Las Palmas in La Liga, tomorrow, Saturday, Ancelotti responded to those statements and spoke about Benzema’s alleged return and revealed who is guarding Real Madrid’s lair in tomorrow’s match.
Las Palmas match : “It is a match that can be complicated because Las Palmas play very good football. It will be a difficult match. We are motivated to play at our best again. We got more rest than play. We have everyone available, and we are looking forward to that confrontation.”
Information about a possible return of Benzema: “This is a lie, we never talked about this matter at the club.”
Bellingham’s absence: “Ibrahim Diaz can play and we can study Joselu’s presence. “I believe that, as we have done several times, we can compensate for the absences of important players.”
Klopp’s departure from Liverpool: “It is very surprising. Klopp has done a great job and is still doing it. That gives him a lot of credit for being objective and self-critical about leaving the club in other hands. For me, he has all the respect, he is a great coach.”
Laporta’s statements: “They talked a lot this week. I think the same thing I said before. We don’t have to distort things. “Everyone knows what happened in the last 23 years in Spanish football, and here lies the problem.”
“The league is not cheated, Spanish football has a problem. Now the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office and the Civil Guard are investigating a specific case and we now have to wait. We must not turn the ball over.”
