Three exotic destinations for Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard’s future is starting to take shape. Since he terminated his contract with Real Madrid on June 3, the Belgian has gone unnoticed in a market marked by large outlays and rumors. As AS was able to confirm, the former Merengue player would have several offers on the table to return to dressing short next season and, this time, feel like a footballer again after more than three years in ostracism. However, at the moment the future of the right-hander is being analyzed in depth.
Three destinations would have knocked hard on the door of the former Chelsea player. The MLS , seeking to become one of the most competitive leagues on the other side of the pond, would have been one of the strongest bids for the Belgian. Although at the time Hazard came to reject an offer from Inter Miami , several teams within the competition would have come to be interested in the Belgian’s services.
The modest Vancouver Whitecaps , a ‘discreet’ club on the other side of the border, in Canada, was one of the most bidders for him, now other teams would have joined, seeking to alleviate the ‘Messi effect’.
From South America, the option of Brazil seems to have picked up pace this summer. Botafogo would be the team that would have moved the player the most. Sources close to the player confirm this, Hazard, for the moment, would not have thought of hanging up his boots, at least in the short term, stating that “for the moment, there are many possibilities” to continue playing.
Madrid did not hesitate to throw the house out the window to take over the services of the Belgian, paying more than 100 million euros for his services in the summer of 2019. Hazard wants to be Hazard again.
