Marca: “Real Madrid have completed the €100 million signing promised by Perez to Ancelotti”

The Spanish newspaper Marca announced that Real Madrid had reached a final agreement on a deal, which it described as a strategy, for a record amount of nearly 100 million euros, and confirmed that the official announcement of it would be within days, immediately after the end of the season.

Florentino Perez intends to strengthen his team, which Ancelotti is likely to continue to lead in the next season, with many deals, especially in the attacking, midfield and full-back positions.

Jude Bellingham is facing the most difficult and important day of his still young career. Despite the injury that may leave him out of the decisive match for the Bundesliga title, the English player is close to achieving something that seems impossible in Germany, which is to snatch the title from Bayern Munich.

In addition, as if that were not enough, the midfielder will see how, in the coming days, everything that has been discussed with Real Madrid in recent months will take definitive shape with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

A recent visit by Real Madrid’s envoys to Germany helped bring the positions definitively closer to Borussia Dortmund, as they reached a tentative agreement on the transfer of Bellingham, who will be officially announced after the end of the German championship.

Real Madrid’s captains and coaches considered the signing of Bellingham strategic. With the England player, the aim is to provide the midfield with touch, vision of the game and the ability to get into the opposition area.

In the last meeting that Florentino Perez, Jose Angel Sanchez, had with Carlo Ancelotti, the coach was informed of the state of negotiations and the good preparation of all parties for the arrival of the English midfielder.

€100m is the starting point for the transfer, which can be raised depending on certain clauses relating to the midfielder’s performance and attendance. At no point did Borussia Dortmund’s leaders consider including players as bargaining chips in a deal.

As happened in other signings with Real Madrid in recent seasons, Bellingham had better financial offers on the table, but his priority was and still is playing for the White Club.

In addition to being with England at the Qatar World Cup, Bellingham has participated in 42 matches with Borussia Dortmund this season, scoring 14 goals and five assists.
