The first club to ask Real Madrid for permission to negotiate with Rodrygo

Not a week goes by without Rodrygo (24 years old) making headlines, as the Brazilian’s future remains a mystery that must be resolved sooner or later. Real Madrid would be happy to sell a player who Xabi Alonso has rarely used since taking over from Ancelotti, so the Brazilian is keen to leave as well.
Several clubs are interested in signing the Brazilian winger, who has a strong reputation in the transfer market, especially in the English Premier League.
Tottenham are seriously pursuing a deal for Rodrygo. According to reports from England, they have already requested permission from Real Madrid to speak directly with the player. The process won’t be easy, as there are many aspects to be ironed out.
As previously reported by AS, Tottenham are keen on signing the Brazilian. The arrival of a new investor has given the London club significant financial muscle โ they have invested nearly โฌ150 million in signings this summer โ but the final touch is still missing.
They want Rodrygo to be the jewel in Thomas Frank’s new project. But it won’t come at any price, that’s for sure. Real Madrid valued Rodrygo at โฌ90 million, a sum many consider exorbitant, even if it’s on par with what’s being paid in the Premier League. Tottenham are clear: they want to negotiate.
In terms of age and potential, Rodrygo could be a new leader for the club, especially with Son looking to move to the United States – where LA FC, led by his former teammate Hugo Lloris, are keen to sign him after rejecting Griezmann.
Tottenham Hotspur appear to be the favorites to land Rodrygo’s services, and things are looking up as the crucial August transfer window approaches.
