Florentino Perez agrees to sell Real Madrid duo for €225 million

Real Madrid may undergo a summer overhaul after a disappointing season in which they lost the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey to Barcelona and were eliminated from the Champions League in the quarter-finals by Arsenal.
Real Madrid doesn’t want to keep anyone who isn’t happy with the team, but it also doesn’t plan to let go of players it considers important to its project.
Examples of this are Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz. They don’t want to sell either of them, but if the players ask for it, Real Madrid will be open to negotiations… at a very high price. Initially, Rodrygo will be asked for 150 million and Brahim 75 million.
Both have been and remain extremely important players in recent seasons, and they are still only 24 and 25 years old, respectively. But the best years of their careers are yet to come, as they have not yet reached their footballing peak.
That’s why Real Madrid would be happy to keep them, but they are players who love minutes and aspire to gain more and more importance.
It’s only natural, because they are players with a lot of potential and want to win a world championship. With Vinicius, Mbappé, and Bellingham in the squad, it will be very difficult for them to shine in the same way.
They have two options: either accept that they will always play a secondary role, or leave for another team. The possibility of another replacement only exists if there is a dramatic development in the coming years.
