Perfect swap deal is looming between Real Madrid and Arsenal

Defensa Central reported that Real Madrid and Arsenal are discussing an interesting swap deal in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arsenal beat Real Madrid in both legs in the Champions League quarter-finals and will play Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, having lost the first leg at home 1-0.
According to sources close to Defensa Central, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is planning a move to try to sign Aurelien Tchouameni, the French centre-back who has been repeatedly criticised by Real Madrid fans.
The Gunners are willing to sell William Saliba, the centre-back Real Madrid have been tracking for some time, in exchange.
Arsenal are aware that Real Madrid have Saliba on their radar, having heard rumors and because the defender has become one of the best in the world. Furthermore, Alaba and Rudiger are aging and suffering from physical complications. This makes Real Madrid increasingly open to signing a defender, even if rumors to the contrary have leaked out.
But in this case, there’s a conflict, because Aurelien Tchouameni doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid. He’s happy here and still feels he has a lot to offer the team. He realizes he hasn’t yet reached his best level and aims to achieve that in the coming years. He still has a contract until June 30, 2028.
Arsenal will not give up easily and will do everything in their power to include the French midfielder in their project. As for Real Madrid, they are still closely monitoring William Saliba, who, if he does not renew his contract, could become an option in the summer transfer window of 2026 or 2027.
Inside the club, they believe William Saliba will be the best defender in the world in the coming years, and if they have the opportunity to sign him at a reasonable price, they will be there. The player will be delighted to join Real Madrid’s project, as he has always admired the Merengue team and his compatriots there: Mbappé, Camavinga, Tchouameni, and Mendy.
The key for him is to hold out without renewing his contract with Arsenal, which is trying to do so at any cost. His contract expires in 2027 and he can leave as a free agent to any team. If he fails to do so, it would not be unreasonable to believe that he could be sold next summer for a price commensurate with his contract situation.
