Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr teammate offers his services to Real Madrid and agrees to reduce his salary
The Spanish network, Defensa Central, said that one of the Saudi League players, specifically Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate at Al-Nassr Club, offered his services to Florentino Perez to join Real Madrid in the current summer Mercato.
Florentino Perez is seeking to strengthen Real Madrid’s defense line, especially after the crisis that Ancelotti experienced last season after the injuries of David Alaba and Eder Militao, in addition to exiting the race to sign the young French defender, Lenny Yoro.
According to the aforementioned network, Spanish defender Aymeric Laporte, who shone with his country’s national team in the Euro, offered his services to Florentino Perez to join Real Madrid in the current summer Mercato.
Real Madrid have already put Laporte on their list of signings, but his huge salary at Saudi club Al-Nassr, amounting to 20 million euros, was a big obstacle, as it is an exorbitant salary for a 30-year-old defender.
Defense Central said that Laporte told Florentino Perez that he was willing to make financial sacrifices in order to join Real Madrid and that he was willing to reduce his salary to achieve that desire, but it seems that he was out of the White Club’s preferences list.
