Mourinho agrees to return Arda Guler to Fenerbahce on one condition

José Mourinho, former Real Madrid coach , declared after his presentation with the Turkish team that he is an independent coach : “I don’t need to ask anyone. I have my family, I consult them, the people I love and my representative. I don’t ask anyone’s permission . Of course, I had a meeting with Aziz Yıldırım (former president of Fenerbahçe and candidate in this weekend’s elections), which I will not hide, but I did not ask for permission to come to Fenerbahçe.”

“I have been the coach of Fenerbahçe for two years. Recently, I signed a contract in the presence of our president Ali Koç and our sports director Mario Branco. The project they presented to me was very important. I’ve worked in large teams all over the world, but the facilities I’ve seen here are excellent . A large percentage of our players will be in the Euro Cup. We need to start work in two weeks. I am the coach of Fenerbahçe and I will give everything for the fans because they are the soul of this club. As I just said, I signed here for the project presented by Ali Koç and Mario Branco,” Mourinho stated.

The coach surprised by leaving the door open for Arda Güler to return to the club: “If Arda Güler returns on loan to Fenerbahçe and Madrid pays 75 percent of his salary, in this case he would like to have Güler on this team. But players like Arda generally prefer to stay in a huge club like Real Madrid. If Arda Güler wants to come, why not? “If he loves Fenerbahçe, if he comes for free and if Real Madrid pays 75% of his salary, we cannot say ‘no’,” Mourinho stated.

The Portuguese coach explained that he is already watching the Turkish Super League matches in Portugal and ironically commented to journalists: “Your questions are too long. Questions should be brief so that more can be asked.”
