MARCA sends a request to Ancelotti regarding Arda Guler after Osasuna game
The Madrid newspaper Marca sent a request to Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti regarding his young Turkish player Arda Guler after the match between Real Madrid and Osasuna.
Real Madrid achieved a major victory over its host team, Osasuna, 4-2, in the match that was held between them today, Saturday, in the 29th round of the Spanish Premier League.
Real Madrid raised its score to 72 points, strengthening its lead in the standings of the competition alone, with a full 10 points difference over its closest rivals, Girona, and 11 points over third-placed Barcelona, which will face Atletico Madrid tomorrow as part of the same round’s competitions.
Real Madrid’s goals were scored by: Vinicius, two goals in the 4th minute and the 60th minute, Carvajal, a goal in the 18th minute, and Brahim Diaz in the 61st minute.
Seconds before the final whistle of the match, Arda Guler, who replaced Vinicius in the 85th minute, shot a long-range ball from midfield, taking advantage of the goalkeeper’s advance, but it hit the crossbar and deprived him of a historic goal.
Marca newspaper said after the match: “The Turkish player only had six minutes.” He was about to score a fantastic goal, the undisputed league goal. In the last minute of the match, Arda raised his head and shot a ball from the middle of the field with his left foot, but it was not a goal because it was blocked by the crossbar. A work of art, a marvel, a miracle.”
She added: “It is time for Ancelotti to allow us to see Guler for more than five minutes. Every time he appears, he puts a smile on the faces of Real Madrid fans.”
