Due to regulations.. Vinicius and Bellingham are at risk of missing Real Madrid clash vs Manchester City
UEFA held the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League today, Friday, and it resulted in 4 fiery confrontations: Barcelona vs. Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid vs. Manchester City, Atletico Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich vs. Arsenal.
Real Madrid is supposed to face Manchester City on the 9th and 10th of April at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, while the return match will be held on the 16th and 17th of the same month at the Etihad Stadium in England.
This confrontation is considered an opportunity for Real Madrid to take revenge for last year’s bitter elimination from the semi-finals against Manchester City, where the first leg in Spain ended 1-1, while the Merengues lost 4-0 in the second leg.
According to Sport newspaper, there are 4 Real Madrid players who are threatened with absence from the absentee match: Bellingham, Vinicius, Camavinga and Tchouameni.
The newspaper said: Vinicius Junior, Camavinga, Tchouameni and Bellingham could miss the second leg if they receive a yellow card in the first leg, as each of them has two yellow cards, and the regulations stipulate that a player who receives 3 warnings will be punished with a suspension for one match.
