Arsenal raises its offer to €100m to convince Perez to sell Real Madrid 23-year-old player

After coming close to winning the Premier League, Arsenal ‘s leaders have come to the conclusion that Mikel Arteta ‘s project is on the right track, but that the team lacks tweaks and wardrobe funds to be able to compete with the giants of England.

The Gunners have already paid 70 million euros for Chelsea’s Kai Havertz, and now it’s the turn of the defensive midfielder, a key position to contain the team, make it compact, as defensively the Londoners had some problems.

And this player is Aurilién Tchouaméni , who last season left a lot to be desired at Real Madrid , even becoming a substitute in the final stretch of the course.

The Frenchman, who arrived at the Santiago Bernabéu, from Monaco , in exchange for 80 million euros , has already let it fall on more than one occasion that what he wants is to be a starter , to grow and be important, with his sights set in next summer’s European Championship.

Tchouaméni, without a place in Real Madrid

At first, Arsenal offered 80 million euros for the player, the same money that Real Madrid paid to Monaco. The answer was negative, but the gunner team will not give up and is already preparing a new offer, which could reach 100 million euros between fixed and variable, a golden opportunity that will force Florentino Pérez to, as at the very least, reconsider the situation.

Real Madrid are looking for money to strengthen the centre-forward and right-back positions, while they are overbooked in the center of the field, having signed Bellingham and renewed Kroos and Modric.

For Ancelotti , in addition, the starting defensive pivot will be Eduardo Camavinga , who can be replaced by Kroos, so Tchouaméni, despite having a great future ahead of him, is expendable.
