Another player set to leave Real Madrid

Real Madrid , whose president had hinted to the media that with the signing of Joselu Mato the market was closed, continues to be deeply involved.

It’s not that Florentino Pérez was lying, or yes, we don’t know, it’s that, precisely, as far as the exit section is concerned, the white club wants the men who don’t count for Carlo Ancelotti to continue to parade.

From Valdebebas they want to have the squad for the next season defined as soon as possible, and for this they must also give access to the players who occupy a precious place in the team.

And not only because they don’t count for Reggiolo’s coach, it’s that their departures could mean the arrival of other footballers of higher quality and that they could enter Carletto ‘s plans.

However, there are several names that have the door of the Santiago Bernabéu open, but that, as of today, have no offers to leave the Madrid club. The exit operation at Real Madrid remains stagnant.

It is the case of Álvaro Odriozola . The Gipuzkoan has one more year on his contract with Real Madrid, although, aware of his situation, he does not look down upon abandoning the merengue discipline. The full-back arrived from Real Sociedad , for a large sum of money, due to the projection that was assumed for him.

However, the 27-year-old footballer has stuck in the white team. He has not managed to convince either Carlo Ancelotti, or his predecessor Zinédine Zidane , who also did not count on him.

So, Odriozola has been chaining several transfers, first to Bayern Munich where he did not settle, and then to Fiorentina , where he seemed to recover his best level.

However, the footballer decided to return to the capital to try to convince an Ancelotti who we all know has fixed ideas. And we already know how the story ended . San Sebastià’s has been one of the footballers who has used Reggiolo’s the least.

So much so, that during the season, Odriozola has only been able to play 93 minutes in 5 games , being the second first team player who has played fewer minutes , only ahead of Jesús Vallejo. Despite the fact that the footballer would not look down on a departure, he does not want to go to ‘any’ team.

Odriozola will only agree to leave and waive the final year of his contract if a ‘TOP’ team arrives to sign him, something that seems unlikely these days.

Real Sociedad is interested in his return and could convince the footballer, since he would play in the Champions League. If, finally, he continues, he already knows that he will have to watch the games from the stands all year.
