Portugal’s match against Bosnia and Herzegovina witnessed a funny incident, starring Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Portuguese national team.
Portugal defeated its Bosnian guest (3-0) on Saturday evening, in the third round of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
The match, which was held in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, witnessed a fan storming the field to embrace Cristiano Ronaldo.
The fan succeeded in embracing the 38-year-old Ronaldo , and lifted him above the field.
Cristiano seemed happy and welcomed by the behavior of the fan, who succeeded in drawing a smile on the face of the captain of the Portugal national team.
Ronaldo and the fan also performed together with the “SIU” celebration that the veteran star is famous for.
With his participation against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ronaldo reached 199 matches with the Portugal national team, to consolidate his record as the most participating player in international matches.
