After Bellingham.. Real Madrid makes a new signing from Borussia Dortmund for €80m
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are desperate for a new striker after Karim Benzema ended his 14-year stay in the Spanish capital to join Saudi club Al-Ittihad.
Real Madrid is keen to strengthen its attack after losing the French striker, in addition to the departure of Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Mariano Diaz so far this summer.
Real Madrid will be keen to fight on all fronts again next season after a disappointing season that saw them win only the Copa del Rey after losing the La Liga title to Barcelona and being knocked out of the Champions League by eventual winners Manchester City.
Therefore, the La Liga giants are following Borussia Dortmund striker Karim Adeyemi with the aim of making a move to sign him this summer, as reported by Sport Bild.
However, Real Madrid will have to pay £68.4m (€80m) if they want to sign the Germany international, who starred in his first season with Dortmund.
Adeyemi’s move to Real Madrid will see Adeyemi reunited with Jude Bellingham, who completed his £113m (€130m) move to the Bernabeu this week.
Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg last summer and has scored nine goals and six assists in 32 appearances in all competitions. He also played for Germany four times, scoring one goal.
The 21-year-old has four years remaining on his contract and Dortmund will be keen to keep him at the club.
