MARCA: “Real Madrid is close to settling its third summer signing”
The Spanish newspaper Marca said that Real Madrid is close to settling its third summer deal in the current Mercato to strengthen the ranks of its team before the 2023/2024 season.
The white team had already settled two deals, Jude Bellingham from German club Borussia Dortmund and Fran Garcia from Spanish club Rayo Vallecano.
And according to Marca, Real Madrid and Getafe are now meeting to close the deal for goalkeeper David Soria in favor of the white team, as well as to talk about the future of other players belonging to the white club that Getafe is interested in signing with, such as Latasa, who they want to exercise the option to buy for about three million euros.
Jose Ángel Sanchez and Ángel Torres are in charge of negotiating these deals, which would in principle end with goalkeeper David Soria moving to Madrid.
Real Madrid already held a meeting yesterday with the player’s representatives, and reached an agreement that will be signed when the two clubs reach a final agreement regarding the transfer of the goalkeeper.
Real Madrid wants Syria to be the second goalkeeper in the squad as a replacement for Courtois. A goalkeeper with experience and guarantees to cover the possible departure of Lunin, who is hoping to get more minutes in another destination.
