Florentino Perez warns Vinicius after Valencia racism crisis

Real Madrid announced in an official statement that Florentino Pérez supported the team player, Vinicius Junior, after the racist insults he received on Sunday in Mestalla from some Valencia fans.

The White Club president explained the decisions made by the club, which were brought to the state attorney general’s office as a private lawsuit after a hate crime and discrimination complaint was filed. However, during the conversation between him and the Brazilian winger he also gave him a warning.

As journalist Fernando Burgos explained: “Florentino Perez spoke to Vinicius to reassure and support him, but he also warned him and asked him to focus on football, not to provoke, not to confront the referees, he asked him to dedicate himself to playing football only.”

And this same journalist confirmed that the striker has already signed a contract extension until June 2027 and that he will receive ten million euros net per season. The negotiations actually ended weeks ago.

In the past few hours, many media outlets, especially Brazilian ones, have speculated that Vinicius will leave the Real Madrid team in the coming months because of what is happening to him in La Liga. However, it is said in the capital of Spain that he has no intention of leaving the white club.
